Just letting you know I'm not fond of new format. It is confusing to me!
New Format: Just letting you know I'm not fond of new... - NRAS
New Format
Hi Susie
Me too! I can't find the news feed which is where I used to look to see quickly what was being discussed. X
Sorry, found news feed/ activity, for anyone else a bit dim like me! you have to click on your user name and news feed is there. I am/ was also signed up to thyroid uk but have unsigned for now as all the activity from there is also on news feed and it is a very busy/active site, so NRAS activity was getting lost in it all.......oh well, hopefully this new set up will be fine once we all get used to it?
I'm not keen on it either!
I don`t like the new format at all!
I am not intrested in trawling through every post in the News Feed to see if there is anything interesting. I was used to looking through the Questions and Posts to see if there was any topic I was interested in.
Please Please give us back access to the Questions and Posts as we had before.
I am not interested in using HUL like Facebook for RA.
If I can`t get back the way things were before this forum will use a user!
Cecil
I'm liking it. I didn't like the last method much as the original type I signed up with was do easy. But this one I think is quite clear with everything together and the side bar access to account info etc and newsfeed is all together. I'm yet to receive notification of activity I am in even tho my settings are correct. Quite liking it, but I'm am always the ackward one lol !
I'm not sure yet. Xxxx
How were your holidays ? Did you have fun?
Still here darling. We go home next weekend. We are having a lovely time
The down side is if we have a long day i am not very clever the next day. Infact i feel down right crap to be honest. Hugs darling. Xxxx
Great stuff, you probably had some quite good weather too I think x
I agree with Scottishlad. I have no desire to read postings as would be expected on facebook. I have appreciated being amongst fellow sufferers of the awful life changing effects of auto immune disease and learning how to make the best of it. New format not for me.
this is the second change of format i have survuved......no one likes change but soon this will become normanl......you'll see. X
Well I only knew one previous incarnation, but I like this one. I never liked the newsfeed anyway and always clicked on my individual communities so I could concentrate on each one. My problem is, as I use a non standard browser (tried SeaMonkey, now on FireFox) it never keeps me logged in, nor does it keep the new format. So I have to log in then click the upgrade link - bit of a pain really.
Neither for nor against. Can't be bothered to upgrade account blah blah as I'm not being treated on this site, it's purely for dipping in and out of easily. If it becomes too personal ( wanting to know far too much about me) or less easy to navigate I shan't bother clicking on it.
