Been on it for a year without any problems. Most people seem to get on well with it. I hope that the nurse who comes to help you with the first injection is able to reassure you.

Please ask if you have any specific questions, I will try to help.

The benefits of Cimzia way out way the possible side effects some are just unlucky I was on the drug for a few years and the relief from pain was amazing. I had to stop three months ago and I am gutted I forgot how bad my pain could get... If your lucky enough to be given the drug as it's very expensive go for it

Why did you had to stop if it was doing so good?

Hello Efreixo, I really hope Cimzia will work as well for you as it has for me and many others. It enabled me to get control of my life back. Maybe some people can't tolerate this biological, but don't be scared! Welcome it and reap the benefits. I never had any side effects bad enough to want me to stop this drug! Very good luck and all the best!

I started on cimzia 2 weeks ago so just had 2nd loading dose , so far so good , no side effects , if you read the data sheets it sounds scary , but the have to tell you all the risks however small , if this drug helps me then I just have to accept these risks and realise that if it gives me my life back it will be worth it. hope it works for you x ( and me ! )

Hiya I've been on Cimzia since Oct last year and for me it's been amazing. I was unable to do so much but now swim everyday and am running around again after the kids ! We have to remember that we normally only hear stories on here that are about poor people having problems and still trying to find the right combination of meds , the people who it is working for are far too busy living their lives again :) .I'm currently having break from the magic medicine as I'm getting over shingles but can't wait to start it again soon...take care and good luck - look at this like a whole fresh start ..Claire

I was unlucky I had an Extreamly rare side effect I got pins and needles all over my body so they had to stop the anti TNF drug. It was a very rare side effect though and although I am having a really tuff time of it with the pins and needles gabipentin is controlling it to an Extent! They say the nerves won't start to repair for 6 months...

If I could turn the clock back and know what I know know I would still have taken the cimza as the pain free years was worth the risk. I understand there are very few people with with pins and needles I did join this group to ask of there were any other people with the same symptoms as me and I didn't get any replies.

Please don't be put off we are all different
