I just had the same thing happen last night for the first time.I've never had a rash ever in my life..interesting on the nape of my neck..little bubbles and on my arms and throat area. They nowcwant yo check me for ms because of the rash.not sire if its normal or not but I have no rash here's hoping that I'll wake in the morning also took 8 Viles of blood at least I'll know what its not.feel the best you can Take care of you.Barb.
I too have been getting hives weekly. I'm not sure if they are around the time of my methotrexate. They are usually around my abdomen. If I think back over the years I use to get them sporadically . Now they happen much more frequently. I have had Hashimotos Thyroiditis since age 13 , I'm 53 now. I also had adrenal tumor secreting cortisol which has been removed and have sub clinical cushings.
I now have developed a goiter, calcified shoulder tendinitis . My Rheum thinks I might have an autoimmune endocrine disorder of the parathyroid gland. Has anyone else had these issues?
Hi JJ.... I have just started on Mtx and hydroxychloroquine yesterday. I woke this morning. Feeling nauseous and hives/rash over my abdomen. Reading the literature it's states this is common when first taking the meds. Do they cause a problem with itching ? I also was diagnosed 18mths ago with under active thyroid, so my immune system is compromised....
