Hi All,

Just a quick question. I have been on Mxt now for about 10 weeks and I have noticed my joints are better, however the day before it is due I notice I get a slight flare and hand pain back again. I t has happened for the last four weeks. I am still not up to my maximum dose.

Has anyone else had this?

I suppose at least it ensures that you don't forget to take it - as if that's likely! Unfortunately I have been extremely unwell for the last week and although my doctor here ( I'm in Saudi Arabia) isn't convinced that it was caused by the MTX, he thinks I shouldn't take it until I see the rheumatologist in a couple of weeks when I'm back in the UK. As I want to get on the flight tonight I am very grateful because I don't want to be ill whilst flying! Clemmie

What symptoms have you had over the last week? Really sorry to hear that. I have been quite fortunate on Mxt so far. Safe journey . Heather x
