I had this at end of January, so I'm really sorry for you, and would like to understand it better. I rested my knee like they said and ended up finding it hard to walk at all. Please post if your 'team' suggest why. For me it wore off slowly but I was advised to keep exercising gently.

I'm due to have both my knees injected under sedation I'm dreading it on the 15th of this month xxx
