I work full time and have osteoarthritis and in a lot... - NRAS
I work full time and have osteoarthritis and in a lot of pain can I get help with travel a bus pass for instance?
Hi tracyc1950
You can contact your local council to find out who issues disabled bus passes in your area as part of the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme. You’re eligible for a disabled person’s pass if you live in England and are ‘eligible disabled’. You can find out more at:
gov.uk/apply-for-disabled-b...
There is a search box on this page which you can enter your postcode in and it will take you to the relevant page on your local council website.
Hope this helps

Should be able to get a bus pass Hun xx
There is also the "Access to work" scheme if you are working, although travel assistance for that is usually only for people who can't use public transport (eg by providing taxis for work). Can't remember where you get in touch with them now, but you could ask at either Jobcentre or CAB.
As earthwitch mentioned there is the "Access to Work" scheme which you can find out about at your local job centre or at:
