Hello RA friends, my GP tested my RA in Novrmber 2013 it was 37.4 My Rheumy tested me a few weeks ago for RF IGM it came back as 178 why?

Hello Nettie4lyfe. Could it be a reflection of active RA - are you in a lot of pain presently or is your RA well controlled I wonder?

Mine did the opposite and went down from 26 to 15 six months ago but my rheumy said it didn't mean very much in my case. This shows to me that a person's RF can fluctuate. X

You know thats what I was thinking, yes I'm in alot of pain. My feet, elbows, hands, knees and wrist ache all the time. I had to get a FMLA for my job, I'm a phlebotomist and on my feet all day, and typing. I hate this disease.
