Check out 'the spoon theory', which you can access on ' butyoudontlooksick' website. It is fab, I'm sure we all implicitly get it.

It's about a lady being asked by her best friend 'what is it like to have lupus'. Her condition, but u can easily substitute Ra into the question. A great metaphor which conveys how it is. Right coffee break over , I'll put the ironing away now.

I saw this spoon theory on a website called R A Warriors on Facebook. It was the first RA site I found after I got diagnosed. It's american based but loads of Brits go on it and its great for up to date information.
