I have been advised to keep enbrel in cooler bag along with a wrapped in cloth ice block, then transfer to fridge when I get to my destination. If you speak to Health care at Home and ask to speak to the Pharmacist, they will give you the correct way of keeping it, and will let you have a proper traveling thermometer to monitor your enbrel whilst on holiday. I took there advise last year for travelling and I had no problems, with immigration etc.
Thank you Georji, I was sent a thermometer along with a travel sharps bin and a letter. I was just concerned about how often I would need to change the ice pack, I am away for 3 weeks. I will take your advise and call healthcare at home. Tks Sue
