Hope the injections are just what you need Today I feel a bit of a numpty after overdoing my walks and ending up in pain. So today I'm going to sit it the garden and enjoy some sunshine. My friend is coming for lunch so it should be a nice afternoon. x
Hi fidget, you may find the injections will make you feel a little nauseous in the beginning but nowhere near as bad as the tablets can be and you may not be affected at all.
I came off the tablets for that reason and put on the injections. Initially, felt a little nausea but now don't get any at all.
So good luck with the injections and have a good day yourself.

Trying to think of a word for very tired, starting with N. The best I can come up with is Nackered (well it's close!). Just had 2 excellent nights of sleep, but still feeling exhausted. I have only been up for just over an hour, but I know if I went to lie down I would soon be fast asleep, despite it being a beautiful warm sunny day.
Hope the injections have less of the bad effects and more of the good ones!
N = Nerve endings, mine will not stop at night they still continue when lying down to sleep and keep going until I rub the skin, but then start up again. Getting a bit fed up with it, as I know it means that all is not well with this stupid body of mine. The worst part is when it's at the end of fingers then I get electric shocks every time I touch something.
Neutured,not much good for anthing....xx
Yes, I feel like I've been neutered and no good for anything too!!
At the moment I feel NON-PLUS, after my second Embrel injection this morning. This time I did the injection myself while overlooked by a nurse, it was easy-peasy and not at all painful, but it wiped me out just like the 1st one did and I had to take myself off to bed this afternoon, the same as last week.
But on I must go on, in the hopes that Embrel will work for me and my body gets used to it.
Well wishes to everyone, June xx
I can think of (k)nackered! LavendarLady
Nauseous has to be mine. Got rid of the nausea when I moved to injectable mtx but then I added sulphasalazine which made me feel very poorly. I was told to stop them after blood results showed raised liver function. But a month on and I still cant get rid of the nausea
Needy is my N word. I need these meds so I can move at all. Tripped on a stair in a badly lit stairway today, fell on my knees & wrenched my back. I'm self medicating extra prednisone for me tonight.
