Has anyone used two dmards with a biological?

I only use one dmard with my biological.

Sorry folks. Allanah and I commenting on an incident with my daughter being discharged without proper diagnosis. Sorry if we upset anyone. 2 nurses consoling each other. :-*

If your appointment's not too early you could maybe phone the NRAS helpline and see if they have heard of people doing this and if not why not? Good luck for yor apt tomorrow hope it goes well. Xxx

Good idea! Would u believe I have to drive my son to Newcastle airport for hid flight to DJ in Hollland, then drive back for Rheumy appointment whilst I can hardly walk. But he doesn't ask often so I feel I should help out.,all my hopes on tomorrow's appointment, thanks xx I could read the NICE drug pathways but just too exhausted. Also thought maybe u can have something weekly rather than fortnightly, but my weekly Enbrel didn't touch it. Will let u know what the boss says .

This answer might be too late. I took Leflunomide and sulphasalazine with Cimzia (i.e. two DMARDS with a Biologic). I was already taking the 2 DMARDS together and when I started the biologic Cimzia I was told that it should be just added in and that hey would only consider dropping one of the DMARDs if I got really good control from the CImzia.
