Reckon I have saved over £150

It makes you think how much money we've wasted. My savings so far are €200 which would be more than double if I lived in the UK cigs here in Spain are under £4 a 20 pack but even so I am noticing a difference in my purse.

Shockingly and surprisingly (slightly embarrassed), after almost 7 months smoke free, I have saved €2,607(€10.00 box of 20, gone up to €10.80 since I quit here in Ireland) and not smoked 5,214 cigarettes.  

With some of the money I saved, I booked and paid for a 5 night stay in Vienna for my hubbys 40th in August, I treat myself every month with clothes, meal out etc....

In 64 days I have saved £676 and not smoked 1932 , how shocking is that! 

I cannot believe I wasted that amount of money, its shocking, 

Infact I dont know how I afforded it, I'm on patches and it annoys me that they cost £8 for 7 days worth but I thought nothing spending £14 a day on cigs, shameful

I hear ya Runmeg, hit the nail on the head, sadly it is shocking and shameful....but all in the past now!

£581 for me according to my phone app...and that's not counting the hundreds of packets of chewing gum that went with all the cigarettes (hated stinking of fags)

It's worth actually saving the money visibly for the first few weeks at least, then you can really see the difference it makes.
