I am no longer counting the weeks now and almost forgot to give my weekly update today as I head into Week 10.
I am delighted I have reached this stage of not counting the weeks and my thoughts of smoking are continuing to be less and less each day. One of the first things I read up on when I started my quit was that you start to feel normal by Week 12, so 2 weeks to go!
As I have said before and say again, I have to be ready to attack at all times - but the sun is slowly but surely starting to come out, at last!!!
Hope everyone is doing good, especially the newbies

Yupppiiiii! Congratulations friend, I am delighted for you! It is a great feeling, not having to open the windows in the car when it's raining for the sake of a fag.
No longer having to waste precious break time to run out for a quick fag, not having to rush the kids to bed so I can have my precious night fag....ah the memories.... All memories now, no going back Well done Rowens

Thanks mmaya, definitely no going back now! Well done to you too!
Well done Rowens. I do think it's a good sign when we just keep the quit and stop counting the days and weeks. Every day is an achievement (especially for me) and the days are starting to mount up for us quickly now. I think at this stage the most important thing to aim for is to just try and act as if we've never smoked at all. It's a tall order but I really think it's the only way.
You have done so well Rowens and you're sounding really positive. I can't see you breaking your quit now.
Rowens....awesome, awesome awesome.....that complacency, the self confidence it is so wonderful to see... Yup 12 weeks, 3 months is a stone throw away and a huge milestone... ....Bill Tommey said “There is no one magic move or secret that creates victory, but lots of little items that when added together can make you victorious.” and you did just that...Congrats xx
Thank you Hercu for a great post, it is much appreciated.
PS Was meant to say during the week, sorry to hear about your recent loss and the other problems going on in your life, hopefully things will settle down soon for you....
