Hello,

My name is Jason. I decided to quit smoking and came to this forum for support and advices.

Welcome Jason and congratulations on making the best decision of your life to quit smoking. I am on Day 19 and it has been up and down but I am focused and determined and getting through it, just taking each day as it comes. I have put up daily updates from Day 8 if you want to have a read through them, as Hercu said read through all the posts to get an idea what is ahead. Best of luck....

Hello Jason and Welcome.

Your uncle has shown you the way and I think it's really just a case of wanting to quit and having the determination to do it. There might be a few ups and downs along the way but we're all here for the same reason as you and I know you'll get lots of support and encouragement if you need it.

Good to have you with us.

Thanks Hercu , rowens08 and Linda54! Your support is very appreciated! It is now the 15th day of my journey. You are right, it is not so easy and there are ups and downs that change my life. It is the 15th day, however there were few breakdowns within this period. I will post my updates.
