So far, it's going really well, I went cold turkey and refuse to use any sort of supplement. I do quick intense workouts when the cravings are hitting me too hard, drink water, breathe deep... anyway, I have found things that work for me.
However, I am a regular smoker of marijuana. I havent smoked it since I quit cigarettes, but I would LOVE to have a joint in the evening to relax, it's just something I enjoy. I don't mix it with tobacco, but still, I'm afraid it will make me crave or go back to cigarettes somehow.
Have any of you ever been in this case, and if so, how did it go? What would you recommend? Staying off it a while longer?
Thank you in advance

I can't answer I don't smoke anything other than cigarettes, my first thought would be to not do it, at the end of the day the big problem in quitting is actually the habit and not the nicotine, I'm guessing it would be bad for you, saying that I know a lot of people that takes recreation drugs to get relaxed, that seems to be a thing! Because I am completely against drugs even the prescribed ones, all I can tell you is that if you need a joint to relax, you should analyse that yourself. I don't smoke a joint to relax, I take a hot bath or go for a long walk, I also don't drink to relax, it's just not my reality...
I am now on day four of quitting its been going ok but really really hard. I am however very determined to never smoke again for myself and also the sake of my family. I was looking around for extra support and came across this forum and thought why not! So hi everyone
Mariak a very warm welcome and you have landed on a forum which can really help you in this journey. Yup it is the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life but here I am today Three months and 7 Days smoke free..... And it is beauuuuuutiful..... Strongs !!
Deev.... Welcome to this lovely forum and like Mmaya commented I can't answer on the Marijuana which according to me is also another form of addiction.
You said you don't want to supplement but would like a joint...I think that is a supplement ??
Deev - In my opinion you need to give up both, otherwise I think you are 'cheating' yourself.
