24 hours done!

And so far, so good. Felt very light-headed earlier on, but levelled out now. What will tomorrow bring?!

I'd also like to know what foods I should look forward to eating with a better sense of taste? Will give the motivation I need. I'm thinking cheese Doritos would taste amazing when my taste buds are not deadened with smoke! :) Any ideas?

Well done and congrats!! I'm coming up for 24 hours at midnight ish tonight. Exciting times! What are you thinking to motivate yourself tomorrow when the initial momentum starts to fade?

Thanks! Well, so far today, I've just not thought about it and busied myself at work.

Oh, and crisps, had lots of crisps. But would rather eat crisps than smoke!!! :) How are you getting on?

Woop woop! Well done Phil! And SushiPrincess! Phil, I ate ALL the foods, and loved every bite :) Treated myself to nice cheeses quite a lot...and many, many, many sweeties. And crisps. And rediscovered fruit, and crunchy veg, actually, with mega-fatty dips of all kinds...mmm!

Celebrate every little success, is my advice to both of you. Finished dinner without lighting up? Hip hip hooray! Walked to the shop without a smoke 'for company' on the way? Yippee! Etc etc :) Pile on the positivity all the way x
