Now one week into my cold turkey quit, I experienced the worst day thus far. I have been craving a cigarette pretty much all day and slight irritability; which I hope doesn't develop much further. I have also been having disturbed sleep -- waking up in the middle of the night, etc. -- which I think may be worse tonight as I drank far too many diet sodas today! But, despite the elements of addiction conspiring against me, I got through another day smoke-free. I at least have my concentration back too, which had diminished in the first couple of days. And as a book lover, that scared me the most
Hope all is well with everybody else.

William - books got me through those first tougher than tough weeks! Glad you've got your concentration back
Stick with it friend, keep reading about others' experiences too, and about all the benefits you can look forward to, it'll spur you on through the dark times! x
I'm with Incy, books books and more books, whatever the subject doesn't matter, the reading on the topics has some good links as well, there is soooo much to read if you need a distraction, Allan Carr no smoking is equally as good, take care my friend we are with you on this 😊
Well done ..... stick with it and before you know it it will be 2 weeks - that is me today 2 weeks cold turkey!!! Have had the bad days that you have said about here and yesterday was good and hoping today will be too - remember that you have been incredibly strong to get this far so remember that every time you have a bad moment
