Prior to my Heart Attack last year my Blood Pressure was usually aroud 180-190 /90 ish, since quitting a year ago it is now 125 - 135 / 75 ish.
Another welcome benefit of quitting !

Nice one Gus So many benefits! Well done x
On a similar note, my resting heart rate is SO much lower than it was - I used to feel it racing all the time and found it quite scary - too scary to measure it. Now I wish I had, because it would be interesting to see the difference...might ask the doctor about my comparative blood pressure next time I go, too, just to see
I quit 29 days ago. My pulse fell from 88 to 70 and BP from around 140/100 to more like 126/80 within a fortnight, also my resting O2 saturation has risen from 75% to 77%!
Only fly in the ointment is an almost constant cigarette craving and an uneasy sensation in my chest, like a feeling of impending doom, I can beat it. Beating it makes me feel strong.
Gus brilliant news all round. Doing great, those benefits just keep coming.
