I'm having shepherdess pie - like shepherds pie but without the lambs... Base made from random tins of beans/chickpeas, grated carrot and courgette, mashed spuds on top, yum :)

And thanks for the thread - I hadn't thought as far ahead as tea today, but once you'd asked, it made me wonder what I fancied!

Oh yes they both sound nice,

New Years resolution last year, was to have, a meat free night, a fish night, a meal that I have never cooked before. So it's been great, learned loads of new foods, and recipes.

Chinese breakfast today - scrambled egg with leek served in pitta. For lunch I had chilli con carne and for tea I will be making chicken with coriander, yoghurt and red and white quinoa

Think you need to give us some of your recipes, I am a keen cook but of late had a lot happening, so just can't be bothered

Raisins in hot cross buns = fruit = one of your five a day = balanced nutritious meal ;)

Tracey I'm all for recipe sharing, and also, like you, cook in phases where I'm really keen and then can't be bothered for a while and live on toast...

Ok so burgers - some homemade mince, about 70% pork shoulder and 30% pork loin. I seasoned, added onion, breadcrumbs, coriander, paprika, and egg and bound together. When making into a burger patty I have dusted both sides in flour. Once almost redy I add cheese on top so can start melting. Once cooked I lay to rest on side, in that time I place the buns in the same pan to toast and to soak juice up. Serve with lettuce tomato, some caramelised onions and add sauce of your choosing. The beauty is that you can make this to your liking. Hope that helps a bit Tracey

Oh I sooo love burgers home made, I sort of do something similar, but put cheese in the middle ,with some lush softly cooked onions, wrap meat round and cook yum yum.

Really struggling with weight gain and eating. Didn't mind at first as I was on the brink of being underweight but I can't stop eating. That's a ridiculous thing to say, as of course I can stop eating, but I feel hungry for all the wrong things all of the time. Ashamed to say that I ate SIX small fresh cream eclairs yesterday!

Anyway, I've done 11 weeks now without the fagaroonies.

Someone has come to do some work in the house - smells foul; didn't realise just how bad stale smoke smells. Wonder who I thought I was kidding when I never admitted I was smoking - it must have been so obvious: a quick squirt of perfume just isn't enough!
