Day 115... challenge coming up tonight...

Well I don't know how others manage it, but usually I have a nagging gut feel when a challenging situation is on its way, and I try to keep my guard up.

This evening, will be going for more than a couple of well-deserved pints (I think hahaha) with my buddies, and all I want to do is to stay smoke-free. I'm not sure about tomorrow, day after, next week etc, just need to pull through today !

I had a work buddy, who started on the quit journey, 2 months after I did, and about a week ago, fell off the wagon. Totally understand how difficult it is, to get ourselves off the weed.

Folks, stay focused and on-guard.

You're quite right, Edge, to remember to stay on your guard at all times. I'm certain I will never reach a point where I can become complacent and OH, who quit over a decade ago, says the same.

But you'll be fine tonight I'm certain of it (if only because you've very sensibly honed your built-in 'on guard' mechanism :))

Have a lovely time won't you? :D

I have made some dubious decisions while under the influence, mostly a long time ago and involving women :D

The best advice I can give is to be restrained in your alcohol consumption so that you stay in control.
