After much procrastinating I took the decision to quit and threw my tobacco away, took a day off went to bed and havnt smoked since, that was 3 days ago. I'm using patches and a inhalator and will to succeed power.I've just started an art degree and am surrounded by smoking artists so temptation is always lurking . I learned from a previous quit that cravings dont last very long so i just let them come then go.A week ago i lost 4 lots of tbbacco in 1 day i think something is trying to tell me something. anyway i've quit,i cant afford it and dont want to do it anymore.

Thanks everyone for the great welcome. it feels good to be quit again. It really is a vile addiction and really hard to get untangled from. NOPE is my mantra once again, that and one hour at a time.

It really is lovely to see you again. We were talking about you and wondering how you were on the Nov/Dec 13 quitters social group just the other day- were your ears burning?
So glad you've decided the time is right to take the plunge and get back on the road to freedom. You had too much on your plate last time but hopefully now you're settled on your course (I do hope it is going well & you're enjoying it?) you can focus on your quit. I'm sure you'll do it this time.
Good on you for getting those first few horrid days under your belt too. You'll be through the first week again before you know it.
