  • Ride through the craving. Do Not go to the shop and buy 10 - because you know it will not be 10...it'll be 10 + a lot more.

    Try:

    - Deep Breathing

    - Drinking Water

    - Going for some exercise

    - Having a warm bath

    - Try anything but please do not go to the shop! Pretty Please! :-)

  • Hi Shashwoo, well done on getting to work without going to the shop, you know it won't help. Congrats on your quit.:D:)

  • well done Shashwoo for not giving in, we all have hard days and when those craves hit its hellish, you should be so proud of yourself for not smoking and sticking it out, good for you :) xx

  • It feels great once the craving has passed and you know you beat it!! Keep going--it does get easier eventually!

  • A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has commented on this.

I am full of stress and the craving is back again... I have been and had a couple of puffs on my e-cig.

I can't describe how I am feeling really, a mixture of angry/sad/in need of a smoke

I am actually snapping at the other half already :( is quitting smoking really worth risking my marriage?

Honestly my head is done in :( :( :( Sorry if I sound like a right whinging cowbag

  • Hey Woo,

Day 2 for me too and I'm having a rubbish day.

    I feel your pain.

Hang on in there and if you do go to the shop, get me 20!

  • Hi Shashwoo

Take your mind of things - tell us how you came about your username. :)

Children in my family couldn't say Sharon so they would call me Shash and the Woo part comes from most of my weird family having woo at the end of their names or equally silly names

Thanks to everyone who has commented :) you are a swell bunch of folkes

  • Now then, now then, no one is going to the shop and that's an order. ;)

Sash, Rustler, Saucisse, we all feel your pain. There ain't one of us hasn't been there. The first few days are pants and there's no use in pretending otherwise. This is the point where you just have to dig in deep and eat furniture/howl at the moon/run around in circles making strange yelping sounds/kill the next door neighbour or whatever else it takes to get through it. Because get through it you will, and you won't half feel proud of yourself for having done it. :)

Big hugs heading to all of you and may the rest of the day (and night) be easier.

  • Hope you had a better night dear Sausage :)

How are the Mighty Three doing today? Thinking of you all.

We shall tell you on the Day three thread ;)

  • I quit a few months ago, but I do not purely quit. I vape indeed just like you. BTW, where did you get your e-cig? Mine is kinda dry burn taste!
