Having a real downer of a day so far. Feel really grumpy and fed up. Weather is not helping either, its been raining since Sunday more or less non stop. Sorry for moaning but I am struggling :(

Hey sweetie! Im in same boat as you so I know how you feel. Im about 6 days into the withdrawal process and its tough! But what has helped a lot for me is a bit of exercise! It gives you something to do, perks your mood up and helps a lot with the cravings. :-):-)a long walk might help!! Good luck! You have gotten this far!

So sorry to hear your having a bad day, I remember there being an odd horrendous day early on, but it will pass.

As the others have said, keep yourself busy - In the early days of my quit the house had never looked so clean and organised, because I did so much housework to keep me distracted!

Hope it all feels a bit better soon, we're all here for you.

Fiona, if it isn't too wet, try to get out of the house for a while. It can help just to walk (fresh air and a change of scene can make all the difference).

I am sorry you're having a bad day. Please accept a virtual hug or two from me and I really hope you feel better soon. :)

Hang on in there Fiona!

You have come so far already, now its the mental games as the Nico Demon realizes he is losing his grip on you.

Drink water, go for a walk, rant on here, eat the furniture, stand on your head.....whatever it takes, but just don't smoke

It will get better, I promise!

fiona !

god damnit !! its a bitch ain't it ???

I had quite a few days like that in the beginning, two things helped me rediscovering my love for reading before everything was on a digital screen, the text, holding a book touching paper, turning it over was great it helped me escape the terrible side effects and my cravings, even if just for a few hours at a time.

secondly, as important or maybe more....this forum !! i took every possible opportunity to use it as my punching bag, agony aunt, my bitch, my gang....u know what i mean ?

hang in there, things do get better !!

Oh so sorry your feeling rubbish, and do hope tomorrow is better,

The day is nearly over, so little treat and early night might help.

Good luck for tomorrow:)

I survived! 3 long dog walks helped. Lots of gum and keeping busy. On a positive note my new phone arrived and after much swearing I managed to set it up.

thanks for all your kind messages, they really do make a difference. Away to do some yoga in a bit- ohm
