Great stuff Psuedo!

Sorry to hear about the insomnia, I seem to be over it after 3 weeks.

I know that missing something feeling, but believe me - you are missing absolutely nothing! It's all part of the smoking illusion.

I've just finished Allen Carr's easy way book. If you haven't read if yet, I really recommend doing so. This will for sure help you

Rejoice the fact that you are free from this addiction, and have been since your last smoke - it's over

Very well done to you, have a great weekend!

Andy

I know you have heard this before

but it will get easier honestly sipping plenty of water through out the day having a nice warm bath before bedtime and try doing some puzzle games to help keep you focused

those feelings like you have lost something or are missing something will go away too

the fact you have been out drinking so early in your quit is amazing

you will get through this

onwards and upwards is the only way to go

:)

The insomnia is a swine - you always believe that because nicotine is a stimulant that once you stop using it that sleep will come easy - nah, no such luck. I drank loads of tea and coffee when I first quit, trying to get rid of "that taste" at the back of the tongue, which was a huge mistake because caffeine is absorbed easier once the nicotine is out of your system as they sort of cancel each other out, meaning sleep was really elusive - booze can be a big hindrance as well, I found that I would fall asleep after a few, then wake up an hour or so later and found it impossible to nod off again - allegedly you only sleep off the booze and you're not getting any real sleep. It really does get better soon, just hang in there and be nice to yourself, it is so worth it in the end. ;)

Pseudo, you can do it. There's a point where you realise that if you keep going, you're in for the long-haul and I think that's where you're at now. The initial elation has worn off and it's all a bit of a grind. This is the point where nothing other than gritting your teeth and plodding on will work. If you can do that you'll find that once you're through this patch things will get a whole lot easier.

Just hold on mate and I shall hope that today is a good day for you. You're doing really, really well and I know you've got what it takes to beat this thing for good. :)
