ANYWAY, it's Day 12 in the Big Forum House for me and, dare I say it (????), this 'not smoking' is slowly beginning to feel more the norm. Eeek!
Don't get me wrong, Messrs Grumps, Craves, Blues, & Rollercoaster are still firmly in residence, but this 'new feeling' is emerging and it's awesome. It's a first for me!
This will be my second weekend in this 'new land' and I'm remembering all the tips you kind folk gave me for my first weekend (marigolds and Mr Sheen at the ready....).
Hope y'all have a good one too

I do love your posts Badge- I can feel the optimism and enthusiam bouncing off the screen and that's such a positive thing for a quit I think. I have a definite feeling you're going all the way to the Penthouse
May your weekend be a happy one and relatively crave-free.
It gets better too it really does, now think what that would be like, because YOU WILL BE THERE SOON just keep going...one day at a time xxx
TG - perfect. If ever the most tempting carrot was dangled in front of me, this is it in the form of 'imagining how much better things can be'. Thanks for that top-tip incentive, TG, you star!!
Lots of thanks to you guys - Skiddaw, Edge, Nicky and Helene.
Yes, I may feel 'up' but at the same time, I still experience the usual trials and temptations, and as I've said before, I would NOT be on Day 13 without you guys.....and that means YOU!!! Got it??
Edge - I'm not entirely clear, but I believe entry to the 'Penthouse' is when you've completed a year's quitting. I'm assuming the Penthouse is 'mythical' but the idea being that you start at the Ground Floor and go up in the lift bit by bit (maybe it's the stairwell, rather than the lift, as the lift would be too easy).
Anyway, some of the lovely Quitter Old Timers can explain it better.....
Helene - for more of my beautiful cat (who is no longer - boo!), see this thread and scroll down forum.nosmokingday.org.uk/s...
