Scary dropping down patch level tomorrow

It's quite a scary thought, last level on the patch starts tomorrow:eek:

Has anyone got advice on how the drop affects people?

I need to do this as I work week on, week off so my week off now, also just don't want to rely on replacement nicotine for to long.

Thanks

Hi Tracy.

I found the drop from stage 1 to stage 2 noticeable but stage2 to 3 no problem. Apart from wanting to eat everything in sight:D

Hi Tracey

Last time I stayed on the stage 1 patches for about 9 weeks, much longer than it says on the box but recommended by a few members and agreed by the smoking nurse, the transition to stage 2 patches was very noticeable but only for a few days.... This time I had a week of stage 1 and I have been on stage 2 for 4 days and it's been ok, I will stay on the stage 2 for about 4 weeks, as Keith said I think you should be aware you probably will notice a bit of a difference but it's only for a few days and then you should be fine again. Xx

I'm with Debbie. I'm pretty certain that at this stage in a quit it's much more psychological than physical. Just tell yourself nothing has changed, Tracey, and I think you will be fine.

And many congratulations from me too. You're not half doing well! :)
