This is my first post so please forgive me if I get anything wrong
I have been reading the posts on here for a couple of days now and found the stories so inspiring that I want to join this party!
My quit date is tomorrow, so looking forward to seeing some of you in day 1. Gonna do it CT ( I am really determined, and just spent the last hour reading Hawkeye's posts which have really spurred me on)
I have had enough of this NicDemon and ready to have a battle with it with you guys!

Hi Stashee, welcome to the forum and good luck with your quit!
I hope that day one is going well for you and look forward to seeing more of your posts! X
Hope you are holding out and mindset all geared up. It will not be easy, but believe that you are made of sterner stuff than giving up at the first hurdle. It really really does get better. Just hang in there, persevere and day by day, week by week, you will gain an inner strength you never ever thought you had. You are fighting an addiction after all.
I am reaching the 6-month goal post after having smoked since I was a teenager (pushing 58 now) and stopped cold turkey from 40+ a day.
It is a challenge and believe in yourself enough to strive to prevail.
