Defo feeling the benefits...smells n taste are up. Waking up without an alarm n not feeling so tired...it's amazing.
Is this normal though?? I've been really sweating in my sleep (more than ever) and was quiet uncomfortable last night...blood was boiling! But wasn't craving a cig. Was just irritable!! Took ages to get off (no help from my little one mind u)
Anyways onwards n upwards people!!! Have a great day keeping smoke free.

Well done for getting to day 4, you're well on your way! Seems like yesterday I was on day 4 and now I'm into my second month and not even counting the days anymore
I think the night sweats are completely normal - I woke up drenched for the first few days of my quit! Flu-like symptoms are quite common from what I've read and my own experience confirmed that - they call it quitter's flu Obviously if it persists then pay your GP a visit for a check up
The irritability is definitely standard too, unfortunately. Just make sure your nearest and dearest are forewarned and if they are helpful perhaps you can give them a contingency plan if it all gets too much - I basically locked myself in the lounge for my first week as I felt like strangling my other half for even breathing near me! but he knew to just leave me to it and we managed to come out of it alive. I was quite depressed during the 2nd and 3rd weeks too, but again that has passed and I'm back to my normal grumpy self now

Oooh it's so fab to see you doing brilliantly!!
You and Kim are an inspiration
Like Carol says we all get different symptoms, but my sleeping has been disturbed pretty badly, waking up earlier, dropping off stupidly early in the evenings, you name it!!
But it's all a healing process and getting rid of being dependent on a pesticide
That's the first half of the week broken, how fab is that? xxx

Totally normal... There are so many weird and wonderful withdrawal symptoms we just have to roll with it day 4 is good going, before you know it that first week will be done and dusted good work! Xx
Great news day 4 girl! Know what you mean about being a little irritable.....little noises are making my blood boil. Like Oliver (my son) making silly noises & a motorbike that rattled through my head!!! I gritted my teeth & took a deep breath !
Also as more oxygen is getting to my brain i'm waking a few times during the night wide awake!! Fall back to sleep eventually. This is where i found excercise to be good, releasing all the energy and getting the feel good factor that we thought crappy smoking was giving us.
