I used to smoke in a sort of summerhousey, sheddy thing in the garden, (there's still ash on the floor, blech) was quite cosy in the winter, but obviously not fun getting to and mum uses it to dry the washing in. She's just put her airer in there, immediately I thought "oh poo, can't smoke in there again" 'cos stinky towels would get me shot.
then I realised
It doesn't matter
:cool::D:cool::D:cool:
I don't smoke at all
:cool::D:cool::D:cool:
EVER
So anyway guys, what are your WOOHOO I don't smoke moments?

When I had to take my dad into hospital urgently a couple of years ago I left him alone while I ran down 2 flights of stairs, puffed away as fast as I could, made myself dizzy and sick and ran back up the stairs stinking to high heaven. No doubt people probably thought I was the worst daughter ever!
This time, when I took him to the eye clinic we were in there for three and a half hours and I was with him the whole time, I sat there and felt so happy that I didn't smoke anymore and I could keep him company and not feel stressed out. It was a really good feeling

Awww that's really lovely Molly!!
Sickening how smoking makes us do stuff we know is wrong isn't it?
But no way could you ever be a bad daughter, you're fab!!
Going into hospital for my recent op and not worrying how long it would be after surgery before I could go outside for a smoke. Because I don't smoke!! Feel sorry for people who wake up from general and have the need to smoke niggling at the back of their heads
Thinking about my next holiday abroad and not worrying if I'll be able to smoke in the airport or not.
Last time we went away I literally ran to and from the dirty smoking shelter at Manchester airport, was out of breath and didn't have time to finish my expensive airport drink before boarding! :mad:
Ha ha ......last week on way to meadowhall with my brother in his car !!.....My first thought that day was .....'Oh no ! Cant smoke in his car ! '(he hates fags and his car is his pride and joy so big no no lol).......then 'Oh no ! We gonna be walking round meadowhall for hours an i cant have a fag !! '......then I thought ' silly cow ! ' it dont matter cos I dont smoke ....yay !! :D x
Going out for a meal with the girls, there are 4 of us and I was the only one who smoked. The realisation that I wouldn't be sitting wondering when I could sneak out, such a fantastic feeling! And the praise was pretty cool too

And also going back into them and having to say ' what were you talking about?'
Had a lovely tea, which tasted loads better and instead of bolting out of the kitchen door or heading to my LC, i had a cuppa and I do not miss those cigarettes I'd have had in the least!!

Not this year!!
Now they are fab
When you think about how much effort we put into smoking it was sooo not worth it!! And so sad to be struggling out of hospital in pain every hour or so

Oh lol!!
Glad it's not just me who does that
Never smoked in my car, so it's going to be nice not having to stop on the side of the road for a fag, whatever the weather!!
But just YAY so much less stress!! x

Oooh fab!!
And not missing out on loads of the conversation while you're off smoking, or getting that crappy taste spoiling your meal!!
Every budget day when the chancellor says "and 10p on a packet of 20 cigarettes" not for me I think
You must have saved a small fortune!!
I get disproportionately high satisfaction from ambling through Tesco and passing shelves of Nicoquitty Anti smoking sticky plasters/gum you name it,all bearing happy smiling healthy faces,all urging the shopper to buy their item and embark at LAST on a quit.Such products used to tweak my guilt something chronic!!!! :eek::confused: I look at the prices-WINCE-then think,Oh I seem to have quit already,think I will check the toothpaste aisle instead :D
They used to make me think "oh *ahem* off" now I need them, soon I'll join you feeling smug!!
Saved is the wrong word as it would imply that I still have it
However when I last smoked a packet of Richmond Superking Menthol was £4.80 (no idea how much it is now TBH) however on those figures alone I haven't spent £7,900 so in reality taking into account 5 years of budget increases that would probably be closer to £10K :eek::eek:

Lol I know what you mean!!
Think my "savings" will end up going on other things too
Don't know about Richmonds, but mine were £16.50 for 40 :eek::eek:
But having about £10k extra money for not doing something is flipping fab!!
