Tired - that would sum me up right now, tired and irritable.

Fed up with not sleeping, and have been eating far too many sweets and chocs.

Toying with rewarding my success to date with a glass of red but have avoided alcohol so far as I kind of expect an association with smoking that may make the cravings worse....pfffff

Definitely been the longest day - on the bright side, I smell great :D

And for all it may seem pathetic to those who never started the evil habit in the first place, I am feeling a wee bit proud of myself!

Will def be there on day 4 in the morning

Mina

That's great Mina, I haven't had the greatest of days either, cold like symptoms and aching all over.

I suffer from insomnia normally so have introduced a couple of things at bedtime that are helping me.

Around 9pm I am having a small glass of fizzy wine, I don't normally drink from one year to the next but found on the first night and second night this really helped remove my anxiety at night. Its not something I will do permanently but for those first few difficult days I am relaxed about it. I don't really associate smoking with alcohol though as I don't really drink.

Second thing is a hot bath right before bed. Plenty of bubbles to soothe those aches and pains. Loving Radox.

Finally I am using self hypnotherapy App it cost me £6. I don't know if its working for the smoking but its sure knocking me out for sleeping :D

Hope tomorrow is a good day for you! See you day 4 :D

So after my Thursday blip I shook myself down, psyched myself up, booted myself back to Day 1 and started again

Here I am back on day 3 and can see new territory not too far ahead, and hopefully am a little bit wiser as I approach it!

Thanks Jenny

One thing I did take away from my Blip was that whatever was a problem before I lit up was still a problem after, smoking was not the miracle solve all, cure all that my head had persuaded me it was:o

I know sounds dead simple but that in itself was a little bit of a wake up for me - I allow you all to call me thick :D:D

Thicko! Lol, you asked for it :D

Honestly, Mina, you've hit the nail on the head.

Smoking does NOT solve problems.

If it did, then Stephen Hawking would be a 60-a-day man!

The nic-demon is NOT your friend...he's trying to kill you, and makes you pay for the privilege. The rotten sod!

Well done you should be so proud of yourself.

This was me 6 months ago and with your positive attitude you'll soon be where I am, go for it :D

It's a constant learning process, Mina....make sure you take the lessons learned forward with you. Forewarned is forearmed and we all need as many weapons as possible in this fight against stinking fags. :)
