Thank you everyone, and Karri, you are so not wrong, I took the joint out of the oven and demolished my half of the crackling within a minute, the OH has left his for today - how he can resist that I've no idea - I'm actually drooling at the memory

hmmmmmmmmm crackling.........OooOooo my mouth is watering!!! Im the same with pork fat when the meat is about 3/4 cooked I dip plain white bread in and soak some of the dripping up.....my OH looks at me in disgust but I cant help it!!

I adore chicken skin too.....as soon as its cooked and out the oven it magically "falls off and disappears" into my mouth!!!

Cor....I flippin starving now! lol
