It's good that you are being positive because that is the main aspect of quitting in my eyes. Plus don't look at it as losing something, eg nicotine, more you are gaining everything - money, status, self-esteem, better health, live longer etc etc etc
Go Michelle.....be flexible with your approach.....I was determined to go CT, but had such a bad night last night that I have slapped a patch on today and feel positive.....still got 14 hours left but am in a good place at the moment.... stay strong...

Hi Rich,
There is alot of pressure to go CT from society and ultimately that has contributed alot to my failings in past quits, sure Nic O'tine is gone after 3 days but its the psychological addiction thats the hardest to crack, I hope you still feel so proud of yourself..... I too am in the patch gang I have come to realise that it doesnt matter what vehicle we use as long as we are all heading for the same destination xxx
My partner is quitting also but he needed to use NRT, ultimately he smoked a lot more than I did. I think who cares how anybody quits, as long as you are quitting is all that matters!
Agreed - as long as you aren't puffing on a fag then you are winning (well, unless you're replacing fags with heroin, you're probably not going to win that way... ;))
I bought a e-cig/vaporiser thing for my quit. I used it intermittently the first couple of days which I think helped more psychologcally than anything (certainly didn't help to prevent the quitting flu) but I haven't even touched it today and I'm not sure I even will! Just having it there seems to make me feel better.
