I gave up smoking before my quit date, I have actually been smokefree since 29/11/13 but I wanted to have my quit date on the 1st Dec just to make it easier to say yeay 1 month or 2 months etc
I am using patches and when I get really bad or moody I have a lozenge
I see the stop smoking nurse at our local hospital and she is great. I have just spoken to her to say I wont be needing an appointment until atleast next week because I am feeling strong.
I have read a few posts on this website and I think I will fit in just fine.
Its nice to cyber meet you all

Hello Princess and welcome. Congratulations on getting a couple of days under your belt already. It sounds like you have the best weapon already for this battle, a determined attitude. I would say though that you will probably never forget your quit date, for most of us on here it is indelibly burned on to our psyche, some can tell you to the second how long it is since they smoked Wishing you the very best of luck in your quit
Ive decided to join the gym tonight. It will burn off the extra chocolate and sweeties and its a smoke free environment. Also I will need to keep smokefree to not make a fool out of myself in there!
