And it only feels like yesterday I was celebrating 23 days, now it's 123
Every day it's getting just that little bit easier, I can remember thinking "just a couple more hours and it's bedtime, then I'll be another day free" now I think "just a couple of more weeks and I'll be ringing next doors bell to join the party in the penultimate room" amazing how your perception of time changes the less "addicted" you become, as a newbie every hour is a struggle and you do get a bit fed up of hearing how much easier it gets, especially as after three days I could quite easily have annihilated my OH and my colleagues for the crime of existing. Now, I might have the occasional explosion, but I really don't get as wound up by the silly things, and the full on cravings are really few and far between too. I can't even begin on the benefits but my favourite one is:-
Goodness Jen, I love posts like yours, you sound on top of the world and that is fantastic and so well deserved.
It actually feels like you've been around a lot longer that 123 days, you're such a voice of reason on here and a great help to anyone who is struggling.
I'm so pleased for you and I'm looking forward to watching you skip into the Penthouse in short order!

Well done, fabulous achievement Jen, keep it up
Thank you Molly, the time thing is weird, I feel like a long term quitter but in the grand scheme of things 4 months is nowt really
Sooooo chuffed for you petal, you're doing fantastically well and I hope you intend to celebrate this milestone with suitable pomp (or should that be plonk?) and ceremony!
btw, your little emoticon from when the red's flowing looks suspiciously like the grand finale to the Dance of the Seven Veils:eek: - you really ARE a raver!:D:D
Thank you Kat, and yes, I love a boogie, I can enjoy a "do" stone cold sober too I am that mad woman who gets up and dances on her own at every party
Wow Jen, no sooner have you sidled into one room and had a bit of a mooch about, then you're offski into the next! Well done on four months, thats a really positive post, and a very nice summary of where you are with your quit.
I don't smoke - not "I'm quitting" or "I'm trying to quit" - you don't smoke. Love that. Congratulations!

Fabulous Jennings, so pleased for you. Another one who proves this quitting lark, although not easy, CAN be done. Thanks for posting such a positive uplifting post I am sure that will inspire some newbies.
Thank you everyone for your kind words, but I have to put the credit squarely in your court, I can't put into words how much you all buoy me in difficult moments, even when the OH was convinced I would smoke again the the stinky git fell of the wagon, I knew there were people here who wouldn't let me feel sorry for myself but just "understood" - it really does make all the difference pic4ever.com/images/thankyo...
