Hi all it was 4 years ago that I smoked my last cigarette, this forum was a brilliant support ( and we had some fun ! ) I rarely think of them now apart from amazement at the cost ! Hope all the other Octos are enjoying that penthouse !

Hasn't it gone so quick? (and easy?) I look at the odd person smoking and think it would be nice to have one but would never be tempted. I never get any cravings either....no matter what the stress is! I'd have done it years ago if I'd know it would be so easy!!! xxx

Big up to all those achieving 4 years quit, great work!

Just realised I know one of the Octoquits, through another (real) life, following Arsenal, KTBird. I aint been at all since I quit cos of family commitments and lack of finances (its a #*$#ing expensive hobby now!), so not sure whether she's quit or not. I do know she relapsed at one stage as she suddenly reappeared outside the pub with the gang of smokers, having previously been missing. Anyways I am going to the Southampton game in November, so may well bump into her.

Good luck to all the Octoquits, whether still quit or not.

Congrats to all the OCTOQUITS 4 Years whoo hoo.

Hoping the Oct 2010 group will start to say how they are doing, me im still going strong 3 years in 12 days just hoping some of the other Oct 2010 group can nip on and say how their doing.

Def all the best for the Octoquits though as i can remember joining and reading your 1st year milestone and thinking i wont be able to do that but your support helped me too and i want to thank you all.

Thanks

Louise, MCW and JJ - how great to read of your continuing smokefreedom

And congrats to others from the best ever quit group - Octos '09 ... 4 years :D:cool:

4 years and two days for me. Would have banged the drum earlier but forgot my log in details.

As for celebrating .... don't think I've stopped rewarding myself since 15/10/09 ;) Costing myself a bleedin' fortune, fun though :)

See you at 5 years :D

Octoquits 2009

Hi All,

Yes still here and still smokefree thank goodness, have turned into a right old hater of fags and smoke and never have cravings. I cannot believe I have achieved 4 years, and I have saved over £10k and would have smoked a crazy 36,500 cigarettes in that time, what a thought........

So pleased to see a few posts from my fellow Octos , what a great group we were.

To any new quitters reading this post, this forum kept me sane and kept me going, absolutely the best thing I ever did was join this.
