I haven't been on this forum for a while so just thought i'd check in because it helped me so much in the early stages. I'm on day 51 and don't really count the time since my last cigarette anymore which i guess is a very positive sign!

I don't think about them all the time anymore and i'm happy being an ex-smoker, i look at people who smoke and realize what a dirty habit it is.

If i could pass on any advice to people who are just starting out it would be the fact you have to change the way you think about smoking. You have to tell yourself daily that they bring nothing positive to your life and who cares if other people are still smoking, that's their choice but we are choosing to stop. We're not missing out on anything or being deprived, we are actively trying to improve our lives and we should be proud of ourselves even if it takes more than one attempt.

Anyway hope you all have a good day and enjoy the sunshine!
