I've only gone and made it through to other end of the Rainbow people!!!

ONE YEAR AND A DAY... TODAY!!!!

I don't post as much as I once did, in fact I am not frequenting this forum as much as I did during the early stages of my quit, HOWEVER, I give ALL thanks to the forum and YOU LOVELY PEOPLE, for keeping it real for me. For letting me rest my head on your broad shoulders when the chips were down, for brightening my day when clouds were grey and for believing in me!!!

Now that I am here posting.... Let me update you on my life so far....

A year on and I've gained 16lbs!

Am walking 5 miles Mon-Fri

Taking part in the Race for Life in Hyde Park on July 14th

Have raised over £400.00 for Cancer Research UK

Have booked my one year present to myself... New York and Canada in August

Have saved over £2,300 by NOT smoking

Docs have given me a clean bill of health

I no longer fear my Dentist

I am slowly building my energy levels back up to what they once were!

AND I FEEL F***ING FANTASTIC!!!!!

YOU CAN ALL DO IT....BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND IN EACH OTHER, SHARE YOUR HIGHS AND YOUR LOWS ON THIS FORUM AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT.... LIFE JUST TAKES OVER AGAIN!!! ONLY NOT THE LIFE WE ONCE KNEW BUT THE NEW, SMOKEFREE LIFE THAT WE ALL DESERVE TO HAVE.

I wish you all every success and I am very proud to have shared this journey with so many of you people... I can only hope that I'm not too late for the Penthouse Party???? I hope my names down on the door list and the Dom Perrignon is chilling on ice!
