I'm taking my girls to the Capital Radio Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (my 8 year old's first concert). I have been twice before with my older daughter and once you go in to Wembley you aren't allowed to leave (well you can leave but you can't come back in) and there aren't any smoking areas. I found this rather frustrating before as we were in the stadium for nearly 7 hours.
This year I cannot wait! How nice to be able to just enjoy the concert without worrying about needing a ciggie! It's great to be able to find new positives to stopping smoking - no matter how minor they are!

A bit scary too how we put up with the limits smoking put on us - I'd avoid places I couldn't smoke (where I totally disagree with Allen Carr - he said smokers like those places, they made me turn into a grumpy b*tch) or be dying for a smoke most of the time.
Think the freedom is one of the best things about stopping, certainly one of the things that I've enjoyed most!! *Points to her signature*
I always hated being stuck and wanting a smoke. Last time I flew to NZ was very strange. I'd always put a patch on and smoked myself silly in Dubai airport. Last time I took time to look round the shops and it was much more relaxing.

Airports and long haul flights in particular were the worst - especially when you were delayed in airports without smoking areas!!! We fly to South Africa quite often - 11 hour flight usually. I used to dread it - not because I don't like flying but because I couldn't smoke!!!! So ridiculous!
I haven't yet flown anywhere as a non smoker so will let you know if I get the same relaxing feeling as you Una

Hope you and your girls have a lovely time hun xx
I agree that the freedom is one of the best things about it.
Thx - I'm sure we will have a great time. The girls will certainly die of embarrassment at my mum-style dancing to Robbie!!!! And of course my version of gangnam style will be done too. I know how to get down with the kids

Video it and put it on Youtube for maximum effect!!
Aw, please? Pretty please? With a cherry on top? We're woefully thin on our giggles on here recently and I could really use a damn good laugh. Or if not, your mission is to find a suitably hilarious video of dancing on youtube and post the link on here for me
Are you implying that my gangnam style would be humerous? I might be a professional dancer!!! ((pretending to be offended))
