Day 58 and no NRT gum for over a week

Hi. Just checking in. Going onto day 58, almost the end of month 2 :). I have stopped the NRT gum for over a week now, and I don't feel any different from when I was on the gum. Cravings are few and far between. I even socialize with smokers and don't even feel the need to smoke, while they are puffing away. Life is good :). I am not a slave to nicotine anymore.

  • HI there, me too and we're about the same time quit. I never did the gum thing though, tasted yuk to me.

It is great when you feel like a non smoker and it doesn't bug you too much when others smoke.

How is the baby? bet he is getting a big lad now.

Yes we are, You are ahead of me by a few days. The gum did help me quite a bit, but was only taking max 2 a day. Now I dont need it at all. I guess it had to do with confidence..

Baby is growing up so well. Love him to bits. He is starting to recognize his mom and dad, and loves playing and "talking" to us. He has changed my life completely.

  • I am sure that he started recognising you a while back. They say that the sound and smell of parents is the thing they recognise first, Be proud he never recognised a smelly smokey dad :D:D
