Milestone....I said earlier to LadyK that last night I'd only just realised I'd done my 3rd week & have stopped thinking about smoking all the time. Guess that means the cravings are going to be right barstewards now, if I remember. They're going to come in hard & fast but, if I managed to survive the earthquake without succumbing to smoking again, I'm hoping I can see the next phase of cravings off.

Milestone for me also Sophie. I know what ya mean about the cravings. They come hard and fast. Just think 23 days ago we were stinky smokers.

I know...how weird & how amazing is that? :D The time seems to be going very quickly now & it surprises me when I realise how far we've come. I'm finding the damned insomnia is creeping back, despite no caffeine, walking, working hard & a hot milky drink before I go to bed so I'm giving it one more night then I'm resorting to sleeping tablets for a couple of nights. The last time this happened, the insomnia lasted 6 weeks & I suffered really badly from RLS till I caved in & went to the Docs...he gave me some very mild tablets just to get me thru 10 nights. I only needed 5 & my routine was back to normal so I might have go back to them for a very short while.

Hiya Sophie :)

You're doing fab, huge well done!!

Have you tried aromatherapy stuff for your insomnia?

I use Avon Sleeptherapy which is fab and it works even better now I can smell it, lol - thought it ws a bit rubbish when I smoked but it smells lovely!!

Anyway by the time I've cleaned my teeth I'm already feeling sleepy so it's fab :D

Thanks Gemma but I'm an Aromatherapist, as well as a massage & Beauty therapist so, yes, have tried everything...I'm almost drowning in lavender, valerian, patchouli, vetivert...you name it, I've tried it! Like I said, I remember this from my last quit &, although I much prefer alternative therapy, one of the things I always say to my clients is that, if the therapies aren't working, they must see a GP to see if anything else can help...guess I'd better take my own advice!
