I am an intermittent poster on here so what I am about to say wont change many worlds but I am going to take a bit of a break from this forum.
I am 107 days into my quit and still going strong. It's really important to me that people don't think that I am not on here because I have failed, there is no going back in my mind. But equally I wanted to thank everyone on here for all the support and help so far, it has been invaluable
Biggest tip to every new quitter on here ... USE THIS FORUM. If you have a query or a frustration SHARE IT, it's the only way to get through the good and bad times. This forum had transformed me from a faked quitter to a currently work in progress successful so far quitter
It's very selfish of me to leave and not help others. Some people on here are stronger than others i guess. It's weird but when I am on here it is the only time I think of smoking really, apart from the odd person standing in the rain sucking on a damp fag revelation moment!! but strangely this forum is the only place that makes me miss smoking!!
Anyway a huge thank you to everyone - you know who you are!! I realize I am not there yet and there is work and effort to be invested but its time to fly solo!!
Will check in from time to time and a MASSIVE GOOD LUCK everyone and THANK YOU AGAIN
Tvh xxxx (still trying very hard :D)

It isn't selfish at all
You have done brilliantly well TVH and if this place makes you think of smoking then it's best you avoid the trigger!!
Don't feel bad for leaving, everyone is different and you have to do what's right for *you* - it is your quit
Huge well done anyway, it's a stinking addiction to break and you've aced it
Hi TVH I can completely understand where you are coming from as its why I don't really come on here anymore either. I'm at a point in my quit now where I don't really think about smoking unless I come on here, so best not to come on!! Everyone has their own way of dealing with their quit...good luck with everything, you're doing amazing

You've done fantastic I don't come on here very often either for the same reason, sometimes when i'm on here I can actually smell smoke (the human brain is very strange!)... or maybe it's just mine
I'm sure you don't need good luck, cause you are doing well without it, really happy for you.
