Sry, im not the kind to hide behind things and made to feel like im a child, i have an opinion like anyone else, i believe in freedom of speech, if some dont like it then tough.... you can always hit back with what you believe in, i made a post believing that Hpool was more or less a fake and got shot down (post deleted) for doing so, some mods think they know better and believe themselves to be of a higher intelligence than us "mortals" ie: posters, Im not here to cause trouble but also im not here to be treated like someone without a brain, i could go on but the clocks go forward and i dont want to seem to be a bore, so good night all and have a Happy Easter .... I have explained why we did what we did and reminded you that it was not your or anyone else's place to call people out on the forum publicly. The report function is there for this purpose all you have to do is click the forum.nosmokingday.org.uk/i... so please use it!

We have access to a lot more information than you do, and you do not know what we are doing behind the scenes as it happens we were well aware of the situation and monitoring it.

The moderation team works very hard to keep this forum running in a supportive way for all members, if that offends you then I'm sorry but it ain't going to change.

It's not nice to see people genuinly trying to help someone who is either craving the wrong kind of attention/simply having fun at someone elses expense. But those people usually get caught out in the end!

Oops! I like having the colour back in my face

Though, to change the subject, my skin was beautiful and soft within days of quitting (you may remember me ranting about wanting people to touch my face, ha!) but I now seem to have developed very dry and rough patches.

I've been lucky enough to have never suffered to badly with dry skin, so I'm a bit disappointed. I also have tiny red bumps all over my forehead.

Any advice?

No .. and if we do they are usually very obvious, What concerned me about HPool was that forum members were genuinely trying to help and to me it felt all wrong, I want to help everyone but something in HPool's posts were just downright wrong somehow and Squinter was only stating what we all really felt Also I love chocolate!! IT doesn't love me!

I agree with all of this 100%. I knew something was off; it didn't pass the smell test for me and I said so publicly twice. Glad the person was banned; there will be no tears shed here.

I wonder if we would ever have known that the person was banned and how someone upthread got that information.

I'm not sure what was written by squinter but do kind of understand the mods are doing a job. They've now finally banned hpool. We all knew something was not right but was a case of sitting back and waiting. Do believe in saying what we feel though as this is a place where we all open up x

The user was banned because it became apparent that much of what was being said was self-contradictory and it wasn't fair to our members here trying to support her. However we have good reason to believe that they were not an actual troll but someone in need of the kind of help we can not offer here.

You didn't get shot down, you had a post removed. Regardless of whether you were right or wrong its not nice to call people trolls publicly because you may be wrong. Your original post said that if someone doesn't speak proper English they should go on their own ethnic forum and not here. Anyone that is saying you were right in saying that should be ashamed of themselves.

We aren't moderated so much we can't have an opinion but calling people out because you have a feeling about them is wrong. One day you might do that to someone who genuinely is in the early stages of a quit and needs support.

The Mods here don't think they are above us. You just think that because your opinion was removed. For someone who doesn't like being treated like a chikd that's a pretty childish come back.

Would you go to a German/French forum with very limited knowledge of their language .... i doubt it, To me this person was fake from very early on, a blind man could have seen that ! And about mods, they delete/remove posts because they can, i have run a website or 2 in my time and have never ever removed a post no matter how bad it might have seemed to some people, imo some people go out of their way to be offended by other peoples posts no matter how trivial they are, so no its NOT a childish come back ... again i would call it an opinion. Do you like Easter egg choccy Squinter? I agree with Max, it tastes quite cheap.

When we were little I used to open my sisters up, steal the inside and wrap it back up again lol.

Im not a big chocolate fan no but yep there is a diff between easter egg choc and a normal bar of chocolate and funny enough i used to steal the inside of easter eggs a few days before easter when i was young, problem was it was my own, big planning and very covert operation involved so no one would notice

You obviously haven't tried a Malteasers Easter Egg.

They're great, just enough chocolate without have an overly sweet something in the centre. Love Easter eggs!!
