CONSTANTLY coughing

I haven't suffered a cough yet, even with this cold...which is a bit annoying.

Maybe you are coming down with something anyway?....other than recovering from smoking?

Just a thought.

A cough can (and should) be a natural part of the quitting process.

If it goes on longer than a month you are advised to see a doctor..otherwise just get it up and get it out

Thanks Greg, must admit I did have a cold when first gave up, although the cold went....just stuck with a cough, so I guess its a mixture of both really. Just soooo irritating to give up smoking, but still 'feel' like a smoker....if that makes sense?!

Perfect sense.

I wanted to get out on the bike today...it was a fantastic day for it ... but my legs feel like lead with this cold.....I am so with you on that one!

Sooo frustrating.....I don't smoke...I'm supposed to be invincible now...Grrrrr!

True, would've been worse if still smoking. I always used to feel so embarrassed having a cough in public.....WITH A FAG IN HAND!! what a Loooooosssseeerrrr!!!

Oh that sounds nasty Isha!!

If it's any consolation I got that too - it started over Christmas *and* I picked up a chest infection on top!!

Was coughing so much I made myself sick and was at it for something like 10 mins at a time. Am guessing my lungs must be lovely and clear now though 'cos I must have coughed most of the tar up
