Haze thanks so much. Lovely to hear from you. Think I am going to wait to actually move into the penthouse until next Wednesday then we can walk the red carpet into the penthouse together. Really looking forward to walking into the penthouse with a young lady on my arm.

New dress??? Ah yes I remember New dress = Dress, shoes to go with it, well it would look silly if the bag, hat and jacket/coat didn't suit wouldn't it. And of course the hair has to be right. Pedicure, manicure, massage and tan is now a must.

Not wanting to over do it, you manage without gloves.

But you deserve it.....

Oh Max she's such a hard task master. Saw her not long ago draped over the Chaise Lounge giving her orders out.

Well let me tell you this penthouse is pretty good. No nasty smoke around here, only good clean air.

12 months down the line and I never think of or have any craving to have a smoke. I can stand and chat to people while they smoke with no problem. Unfortunatey my daughter smokes and I can sit with her while she has one and it really does not register that she is smoking.

No more hacking cough's, wheezing, smelling or huddling in cold windy corners to get a quick drag.

When I look back I realise just what a slave I was to that weed. The things I missed out on because I wouldn't be able to smoke if I went to certain places.

And the money, wow the money. It was not my main reason for stopping but nearly £3,000 not spent on smoking. That has made such a big difference. I have not saved the money and never really intended to but I have things now that I could not have had before. No probs with finding holiday money either.

The best thing is that I feels so much better. I can now take a deep deep breath without coughing and spluttering and not always gasping for breath every time I walked a bit faster than normal. Not long after stopping I was told the grey had gone from my face and did not have that ill look about me.

So all is good. It's the best thing I could have done. No more smoking for me ever. I know I must not get complacent though. I know one smoke will turn me back to 20 or more a day.

If and its a big "IF" I ever do get tempted I will just remember how I felt before I stopped and how I feel now. That will prevent me ever trying one again.

Next project which starts Monday is to lose some of this weight I put on but thats another story.

Anyway must dash as I can hear Hazel calling, she want her feet massaging. At least its better than the last time when she had me peeling grapes
