hi i like your user name my tortoise is called bam bam ,i picked a stop date like you and found it helped , i smoked myself stupid for 2 weeks before my stop day and was totally sick of them , hope it works as well for you , good luck
Just Sick Of It
I'm just sick of it completely what I said up top is all true but one other thing it just tastes like crap to me now 30 years I have smoked and I'm only 42. I started when I was 12 years old. I'm just tired of spending my hard earned money on something that I just can't stand anymore. I was sitting in a chair the other day and I could actually smell the smoke ans crap on my clothing and was thinking if I smell it as a smoker what is other people smelling when I walk into a room.
Oh Bambam that smell is just so awful. I feel really embarrassed about smelling like that, and no amount of perfumed stuff disguises it. So for that reason alone have no regrets about stopping, but you will find so many more benefits so stick with it. It's one of the best decisions you will ever make in your life, believe me.
Day one for me!!!!
Hiya all im new here and i smoked my last roll up at 18.08pm. Have smoked fags and roll ups since i was 14,did quit for 1 1/2 years only to start again!!! Gotta get off them for good this time as im 40 this year and want to be around for as long as possible for my children. So glad i found this forum as we all need support getting of these killer sticks. Will keep you updated and look forward to reading how you are all doing.
Welcome Marge and well done in making that great decision. You'll find plenty of support here.
Well done to the both of you, this is a great forum for support and encouragement, but just take one day at a time, and before you know it a week will have passed and so on. You both give great reasons to quit, and both deserve to be non-smokers.
Hi Bam, you replace the smell of smoky clothes with the smell of fabric conditioner and you can smell your hair shampoo all day too. Soooo much nicer.
Thanks for the warm welcome goodluck BamBam
How are u doing today?
