I'm on day 17, i'm doing okay..... well i don't feel tempted to buy any cigs anyway but i just feel so depressed and i can't seem to get motivated. I had a cig before i did everything before and now other than going to work i just don't want to do anything, i just feel sad is this normal?

Just as Una said, sounds about right the way you're feeling. I too went through a period of a kinda lost, low feeling. But I can promise you it won't last and your feeling of sadness will be replaced with the greatest feeling of pride and achievement.

Thanks Fi, i was started to get worried that i'd always feel like this i just want it to pass and people at work are making it ten times worse by saying "are you okay, you're finding quittinq smoking really hard aren't you, why don't you just cut down instead" :mad: sorry rant over, i think i'm going bonkers ha ha
When I felt like that I went for long walks. I didn't want to, but I made myself do it, and it did help. Try and keep active and busy: I'm not saying it will stop you feeling lethargic and down, but the more you fill the time, the less you are able to brood and obsess about it.
