14 months and a new target

Hi all!

I'm happy to say that I'm still here, and still nicotine free for 14 months yesterday.

After reaching my initial target of running a marathon earlier this year (still need to do one under 4 hours though), I have now challenged myself to run 1000 miles in 2012 - My first full year smoke free.

As I had my 14 month anniversary yesterday, I did a bit of maths, and it seems that I'm on target. I need just under another 140 miles between now and new years eve, and I WILL reach it.

For all those starting out, I'd repeat what I've said the last few times. Every single day, it gets a bit easier! Every time you get a crave, just remember that the next one will not be as bad, and remind yourself that in just a few weeks, you will feel a LOT better! Hold your head up high as a NON smoker!

Nice one Barney, thank you for that, it's really great to read your words.

Congratulations on month 14 - awesome.

1000 miles, that seems a bloody long way!
