9 months free almost

im fast coming to my 9th month of being smoke free on the 13 of this month its been the hardest thing iv ever done :rolleyes: hand on heart there has not been 1 day i have not thought about smoking or fancied a fag :mad: guess for me i will have to live knowing i cant ever let my guard down against the dreaded fag, im still not going back to it !!

Strewth, that sounds tough going. Well done on getting this far and on your ongoing determination to stay quit. Maybe sometime soon you will get a whole day when you don't once think about smoking. If you do, let us know, it would be great to hear.

same here pet...have found it really tough. I even cracked and had one yesterday and it was yuk! So i am back on the wagon and sailing towards 9 months. Its still hard but its just as hard to be a smoker wishing you didn't smoke!! Well done you xx

I'm sure one day it will get better and you will start to think about it less and less. You are quite right about not letting your guard down. There are a lot of people around who had just the one as it could'nt hurt could it? Ohhhh yes it could, 13 year quit up in smoke 'cause of just one. Took me another 13 to stop again.
