day5 and alive

It is a miserable morning here. Walked the dogs wetly round the park. But I feel good because smoke clings so to wet hair and stinks even worse than usual, and I smell of lavender and humbugs, and wet dog. All a bit Miss Marple, but a massive improvement on cheap stale tobacco and misery. Hope all you other 1st weekers are feeling ok

six?

My word, I feel a bit embarrassed about 3 dogs. Mine are big tho, maybe yours are little. I got the first 6 years ago as a reward for stopping smoking for 6 months. Still started again though. I do generally like a nice wet wood, and I must say I do prefer dogs to cigarettes, even the smell!

Well they medium dogs 3 cocker spaniels, 1 collie, 1 jack Russell and a 17yr old staffie:D

But I know what u mean rather have smelly wet dogs than horrible smelly cigs, hoping to stay smoke free this time so come summer I will smell nice as fags seem to smell worse in the heat

I'm liking all these doggie folk! There's nothing like long walk with your best friend/s. Great company, total loyalty, no cheek, and always in the same mood and happy to see you.

I have a black lab, a failed Guide Dog, so she has the coothiest temperant and came fully trained, shes beautiful, we just love, love love her except when she rolls in fox poo!!!!

As for smell, we are like bloodhounds aren't we, we ran a course at work this week, 8 delegates, 3 of whom smoked, I just knew instantly. Would never have known before tho.

It's been a beautiful day here, long lie, long walk at beach, bit of gardening, then Sunday Roast and feet up. Love Sunday night telly, Downton Abbey, and Homeland.

MrsM

Well done on day 5, keep it up and winter is always a better time to quit as like you said the damp cold air makes smoking, the smell horrendous compared to normal :-)
