Day 13. I went to visit my daughter today.I havnt seen her for 4months so a lot to catch up on.Her friend turned up too and we all had dinner together and yes they are BOTH smokers.I was amazed that their smoking didnt really affect me I didnt even notice the smell of the smoke! It wasnt a walk in the park by any means but it wasnt an unbearable nightmare either. When I had a slightly stronger craving I had half a mini tab(twice in the whole day) The cravings are definitely getting fainter and further apart but the memory and desire to have a fag is still there.I just hope it goes completely. Its hard living with it but I know having a fag is not the answer I would become trapped again in the destructive pattern of behaviour and the cravings would be worse.I am pleased with myself today as I survived my first test and in all it wasnt too bad and not as awful as I thought it would be.Can I see a glimpse of the light of freedom at the end of the tunnel? : )

Thank you all so much for your valued thoughts and posts Thank you. This Forum is an absolute godsend as its there in even the quietest darkest moments when quitters need an understanding hand to hold.Without it I think I might have caved in as quitting is a lonely place to be in the real world.
